Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!

So since this blog is named "The confessions of an otaku and a workaholic" with extra emphasis on OTAKU (which means "an anime lover" in simple terms), it would be inappropriate for me not to post anything about anime.

SO my first anime that I would to suggest is......*drum rolls*
....Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!
As you can see, it's more for female audience because girls would feel twitterpated every time Usui (the guy) comes around Misaki (the main character)
It's about Misaki, being a president on a former all-boys school where all female 'species' were being bullied until she came, having a secret that she would not like anyone to know; she works as a maid or waitress in a maid cafe. Usui finds out and their story begins.

You should watch it when you have the time!

I apologize

I apologize for not updating that much. I was (and currently) busy with the preparation with the UPCAT and all. I actually run against time because I have to review and all. So yeah. XD

Japanese dwarf flying squirrels

Don't you find them adorable? This is what the Japanese dwarf flying squirrels look like. One more reason to go back to Japan <3

Part II Salt Dough Clay

 You add flour, water, salt.
2 parts is to flour
1 part is to water and salt
Mix them. If the paste is a little bit wet, add flour.
Continue mixing them with your hand till the paste would not stick.

Then you can mold it into anything and zap it in the microwave for 3 minutes and BOOM. You got a hard molded clay for your keychains, bags, etc.

Salt Dough Clay (Alternative to Polymer Clay)

SO I have this project in English where you have to make an autobiography only that you have to 'squeeze in your creative juices', as quoted by Sir Nalagon, I have an idea which is...
I won't tell you. Well I will post my project on Monday or before that.

But one of the materials I would need is polymer clay. Since there's no polymer clay, I made an alternative one.

Materials Needed:
  • Water
  • Flour
  • Container
  • Salt
  • Measuring cups

Old "letter" to self

This is actually the work of my 10 year old self so please don't judge my topic or grammar. :P

They say “First Love never dies” but I say “True love is better than First Love.” It’s all because First love happens to exist when we were 13, 14, or even younger. I actually experience it on my own but now, I realized it’s funny to remember the memories. Do you ever wonder why?

It’s because I don’t even know why I like this boy. I just found him cool and maybe talented. What I think of first love is just an admiration. Those were the times that you have butterflies in your stomach? Smiling when you see him? Loving those cute eyes? Just an admiration.

I know it may seem rude but its reality. Ask yourself. What is Love? Sometimes we would answer “Love is like a lollipop that you can lick and lick.” Or even just saying “Love is blind" but do you know what the REAL meaning is?

It means COMMITMENT. Are you willing to leave your parents for him/her? Are you ready for a job? Are you willing to live your life with him/her in this stage of life? Will you try to earn money instead of asking for a baon from your parents?  See? I told you so.

One of the disadvantages of being in love for the first time is thinking/dreaming that two of you will have a happy ending. When you two are together as boyfriend or girlfriend, you will think that your love will last forever. But after this bliss, Depression enters. You more likely ended having your heart broken.

My friends, not all the quotes about first love are what you think, because you don’t understand it. But I know that in the end you will, when you experience true love.
:D

Chowsky

I would like to have this dog someday. It's the combination of chow chow and siberian husky, both of them are my faves.

Look at it. SO adorable! :3

Love never dies

This served as an inspiration to me today. It made me realize that love, indeed, is powerful enough to fight even the greatest storm of hatred.

Yu Qi, My cousin

If you doubt my relations with this cutie, then ask my mother. Seriously. This cute girl is a little spoiled (My tita said so herself) but when we arrived in Taiwan, we were welcomed by her warming smile and laugh.
Why don't you see her vain side? She is actually vainer than me.
