Treat love as a disease

Treat love as a disease

If love sinks deep so does hate,
Pitiful as the light goes out too late,
Playful as the flowers in the morning bloom,
Sad as Persephone turns gloom.

Summer's bloom fades to winter's claw,
A heart can make the mind do flaws
Beyond the white snow in the desert lies a faint glow,
Like a river flows in you so shallow

The stone said love doesn't exist anymore
It let go and drown itself in the water heartsore
Time knows that love is done,
But something inside fondly reminds the infection is not gone.
I hope someday that the snow, hardened by strength,
will treat love like fire, a disease.

~I made this poem. Hope you enjoyed it! :3
